See a Minnesota-made eco-friendly alternative to the RV camper. Eco Experience is a partnership of the State Fair, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and more than 150 organizations and businesses across the state. The first 800 kids each day who complete the kids activity receive a YOXO toy made in Minnesota from recycled materials. Check out demonstrations of DIY reuse projects and repair techniques. Discover how much water we consume, “hidden” in the products we use. Visit “agriCULTURE: From First Peoples to New Immigrants” for daily cooking demonstrations and food samples. See a Minnesota-made eco-friendly alternative to the RV camper. Climb into a larger-than-life sink, “flush yourself” down a slide, and learn what happens to water when we put chemicals down the drain. Eco Experience is a partnership of the State Fair, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and more than 150 organizations and businesses across the state. It is the largest environmental event of its kind in the country.”

Minnesota Bluegrass Duet Championships

Description:
Close vocal harmonies, expert instrumental playing, and the drive and intensity associated with bluegrass and old-time string band music are the hallmark of the best duets that will compete in the Minnesota Duet Championships. The Minnesota Flatpicking Guitar Championship is modeled on national contests, and some of the 20 contestants use it as a warm-up for the national flatpicking championships held each fall in Winfield, Kansas.
