Spook-tacular + Volunteer Opportunity
Celebrate fall with a family friendly festival at the Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC). Costumes, hayride, stories around the campfire, carnival games, refreshments and more make this a FUN-for-all event. Volunteers are what makes this event possible. We need you in a variety of roles from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Call or email to let me know what time and task/activity you are interested in volunteering with. Favored spots fill early, so please confirm yours as soon as possible. Our longtime, fabulous set-up volunteers are no longer able to assist with this project. In addition to other event needs, we are looking for individuals, and especially groups, who might want to take on the fun task of setting up the hayride décor throughout the Arboretum. This task must be completed by 4:15 pm and the amount of time is dependent on the number of volunteers assisting – typically about 2 hours. Please let me know if you would be able to assist with this task.
