Weedkiller has surprise toll on trees

Class-action suit was filed Monday against Dupont—company of Imprelis, a new, supposedly environmentally friendly herbicide. Contact the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (ph. 651-201-6000) if you notice the weedkiller affecting your trees, especially watch the spruce and evergreens. Take photos of damage and keep a journal to document damage.

Update! Lawsuits continue to pile up against DuPont over its now-banned Imprelis herbicide. In Minnesota . . . five lawsuits have been filed against DuPont on behalf of property owners who claim the herbicide damaged or killed evergreen trees on their property. . . .
